Monday, September 14 at 19:30 – Irish Heritage Quebec will hold an activity in McMahon Hall, 1145 de Salaberry in Quebec City. Michael Noonan of the Shannon Historical Society will present on the history of the expropriations in Shannon focusing on the events of 1965 and their impact on the community and the families who lived through them. Seven actors will put on 5 short skits capturing stories behind the events that shaped the community we know today. All are welcome. Please arrive by 19:20 as the church door on de Salaberry will lock at 19:30. Refreshments will be served and parking stubs for Îlot St-Patrick will be validated.
