Monday, November 11 at 19:30 – Irish Heritage Quebec will hold an activity in McMahon Hall, 1145 de Salaberry in Quebec City.   Joe Lonergan will give a presentation titled The Quebec City Irish and World War II. It will be a personal survey of the times drawn from contemporary school and parish documents along with photos gathered online from of friends and acquaintances.  Wednesday, October 16 at 19:30 – Irish Heritage Quebec will hold an activity in McMahon Hall, 1145 de Salaberry in Quebec City. Sherry Craig of the Société d’histoire de Stoneham-Tewkesbury will give a presentation focussing on the Irish aspect of the Stoneham-Tewkesbury settlement. Sherry Craig is a dedicated researcher who has written a number of articles on the history of the Stoneham-Tewkesbury area. She is a co-author of Morceaux choisis sur l’histoire des Cantons-Unis de Stoneham-et-Tewkesbury. Refreshments will be served and parking stubs for Îlot St-Patrick will be validated.
