Murders in St. Catherine with Danny Stewart

☘☘☘  Monday, January 20 at 19:30 – Irish Heritage Quebec will hold an activity in McMahon Hall, 1145 de Salaberry in Quebec City. Local historian Danny Stewart will give a presentation titled Murders in St. Catherine. Danny’s research concentrates on what was “la Seigneurie de Fossambault” and is now Ste-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier, Shannon, Lake St Joseph and Fossambault-sur-le-Lac; including a large sector of Valcartier military base. It is where his Stewart ancestors pioneered and established homesteads. His curiosity has developed into a passion for the history of the area. He researches and chronicles past events thus promoting awareness of a little-known chapter of Irish history in Quebec. A regular consultant for various historical societies, Danny is a retired public servant, musician and genealogist. Admission is free and all are welcome. Refreshments will be served and parking stubs for Îlot St-Patrick will be validated. For more information, please phone Irish Heritage Quebec at 418-704-3404. ☘☘☘
